Overnights: Diwali Day brings joy to PTC Punjabi in UK

There was reason to rejoice for PTC Punjabi after delivering one of its highest shares in UK ratings on Diwali Day, Wednesday 7th November, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The channel came joint third with Sony Entertainment Television, behind Star Plus and Star Gold, with a share of 0.08%.

The audience of Star Plus shows dropped significantly with ‘Mariam Khan’ on top with 68,600 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ repeat at 22:30 with 52,400 viewers, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 51,300 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:30 with 33,200 viewers, ‘Tumhari Paakhi’ at 15:00 with 28,300 viewers, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 27,900 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 24,900 viewers. ‘Ishqbaaaz’, which was top for last couple of days, dropped to 21,500 viewers at 20:00.

On Star Gold, ODI cricket between Pakistan and Australia was watched by 23,400 viewers at 10:45, with another 11,000 viewers at 15:15 for the second part. Movie ‘Jolly LLB 2’ was biggest movie on Asian TV with 29,300 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ at 21:00 pulled in 37,500 viewers, followed by ‘Ganesh’ at 18:30 with 16,600 viewers and ‘Crime Patrol’ with 12,000 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 12’ at 21:00 was watched by 33,000 viewers, followed by ‘Bepannaah’ with 17,100 viewers and ‘Silsila’ with 16,300 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Mann Mayal’ at 21:00 pulled in 33,400 viewers, followed by ‘Jago Pakistan Jago’ with 10,200 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Guddan’ remained top with 28,200 viewers, followed by ‘Aap Ke Aa Jane Se’ repeat at 09:30 with 12,500 viewers.
