Overnights: ‘Dhadak’ premiere fails to lift ZEE Cinema UK on Sunday

The UK television premiere of ‘Dhadak’ on ZEE Cinema failed to lift ZEE Cinema’s share in UK ratings on Sunday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The film starring Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor was heavily promoted across the ZEE channels and on various radio stations. However, the film was watched by just 10,300 viewers at 18:00 – peaking at 22,600 viewers.

ZEE Cinema’s share stood at 0.03%. It was beaten by Star Gold, which won the share with a whopping 0.13% owing it to live cricket between India and South Africa. However, Sony MAX and B4U Movies also registered 0.03%, with regular non-premiere films.
