Overnights: ‘Desi Rascals’ makes steady launch
The heavily publicised show unscripted Asian drama ‘Desi Rascals’ made an average launch on Sky Living last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.
‘Desi Rascals’ produced by Gurinder Chadha pulled in 88,300 viewers (including timeshift channel Sky Living+1) – peaking at 148,400 viewers. The show was watched by 59,000 viewers on the main Sky Living channel. The show is expected to pick up further in its second outing this Friday night.
On Star Plus, ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ was the leading show with 139,200 viewers, followed by ‘Saathiya’ with 126,400 viewers and ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 83,100 viewers.
On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss Halla Bol’ remained top with 112,000 viewers at 21:00, followed by new show ‘Code Red’ at 22:00 with 51,300 viewers.
On Hum TV Europe, ‘Badi Aapa’ at 21:00 led the ratings with 52,200 viewers, followed by ‘Zid’ at 20:00 with 42,700 viewers.
On Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ stayed top with 37,200 viewers, followed by ‘Mahakumbh’ at 20:00 with 35,800 viewers and ‘Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh’ at 21:30 with 8,300 viewers.

On Prime TV, ‘Kal Tak With Javed Choudary’ remained top with 6,200 viewers at 21:00, while ‘Takrar’ at 20:00 settled for second place with 5,00 viewers.
On Rishtey, ‘Meri Aashiqui’ remained the leading show with 78,500 viewers, followed by ‘Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha’ at 19:00 with 44,000 viewers.
