Overnights: ‘DDLJ’ special ‘Comedy Nights’ does well
The special edition of ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ to mark the 1000th week celebrations of blockbuster movie ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ proved a hit in UK ratings last night.
According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, the episode, which featured Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, topped ratings on Colors, beating ‘Bigg Boss 8’. The show raked in 97,200 viewers at 22:15 – peaking at 140,200 viewers. ‘Bigg Boss 8’ had to settle in second place with 87,600 viewers.
On Star Plus, ‘Ek Hasina Thi’ at 20:00 delivered an impressive 216,200 viewers, followed by ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 135,300 viewers and ‘Veera’ in third with 109,000 viewers.
On Rishtey, ‘Adhoori Aurat’ at 20:30 was top with 32,600 viewers, while social series ‘Halla Bol’ at 21:30 registered 9,300 viewers.
On Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ did well with 46,000 viewers at 22:00.
On Hum TV Europe, ‘Digest Writer’ moving to Saturday nights proved a hit with 90,700 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Ishqwala Love’ at 22:00 with 46,100 viewers.
