Overnights: Daytime schedule helps Star Plus UK to record surge on Tuesday

Star Plus delivered a huge surge in UK ratings on Tuesday, owing to its new daytime schedule, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus’ share stood at 0.36% – one of the biggest shares in recent times. Its new cookery band ‘Star Zaika’ did incredibly well with 36,100 viewers tuning in for the slot between 11:30 and 13:00. Its afternoon shows also witnessed a boost with ‘Veera’ at 13:00 pulling in 46,400 viewers, followed by ‘Tumhari Paakhi’ with 31,600 viewers. The channel’s top performers overall were ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 112,300 viewers, followed by ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 85,000 viewers and ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 83,800 viewers.

Hum TV delivered a share of 0.08% with ‘Kankar’ at 21:00 with 41,900 viewers, followed by ‘Tabeer’ at 20:00 with 31,200 viewers.

Colors fetched a share of 0.04% with ‘Tu Aashiqui’ at 20:30 with 19,300 viewers.

Sony Entertainment Television attracted a share of 0.03% and ZEE TV raked in 0.02%.
