Overnights: ‘Dangal’ puts ZEE TV UK ahead of Star Plus

ZEE TV UK delivered record high ratings since it joined BARB last month, with the screening of blockbuster movie ‘Dangal’, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

The channel had a bigger share than market leader, Star Plus, which fell behind ZEE TV for the first time. Over the past few weeks, Star Plus’ Sunday ratings have dipped, which has brought the overall reach of the channel down.

Yesterday, the film ‘Dangal’ was watched by a huge 39,400 viewers at 12:30, followed by local show ‘Out & About’ at 09:30 with 30,300 viewers and ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa – Lil Champs’ at 20:30 with 16,100 viewers. The channel’s share stood at 0.10%, compared to Star Plus’ 0.06%.

On Star Plus, ‘Dance+ 3’ at 20:00 pulled in 44,000 viewers, followed by ‘Ek Level Up’ at 22:30 with 10,400 viewers and ‘Chakravyuh’ at 19:00 with 8,600 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Dev’ at 22:00 topped ratings with 8,200 viewers, followed by ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ movie at 17:00 with 4,000 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ at 21:00 pulled in 55,000 viewers, followed by ‘Uttaran’ at 18:30 with 16,200 viewers, followed by the next episode with 12,700 viewers.

On Sony Entertainment Television, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 21:00 fetched 7,900 viewers – peaking at 34,500 viewers, followed by ‘Crime Patrol’ at 22:30 with 3,600 viewers and ‘CID’ at 19:00 with 3,400 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Agent Raghav’ re-run at 23:00 pulled in 32,300 viewers, followed by ‘Hoshiyaar’ at 22:00 with 6,000 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘The Butt Show’ at 22:00 pulled in 15,700 viewers, followed by ‘Derh Hoshiyar’ at 20:00 with 6,200 viewers and ‘Ban Gaya Bakra’ at 19:00 with 4,200 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Geo Khelo Pakistan’ at 19:00 delivered 11,100 viewers, followed by ‘Bholi Bano’ with 6,500 viewers at 18:00, ‘Sanuallah Ki Doorsri Shaadi’ at 13:00 with 5,400 viewers and ‘Anjuman’ at 15:00 with 5,100 viewers.
