The blockbuster movie ‘Dangal’ put ZEE Cinema ahead of its rivals in the movie genre on Saturday in UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .
The Aamir Khan wrestling drama was watched by 31,400 viewers at 18:00, followed by the first time screening of ‘Ek Rishta’ at 21:30 with 13,300 viewers and ‘Happy New Year’ at 14:15 with 9,800 viewers. ZEE Cinema got its biggest all-day share on Saturday since it joined the Sky Original Pack. It delivered a share of 0.10%.
Star Gold was right behind with a share of 0.08%. Its top movie on Saturday was ‘Badlapur Boys’ at 17:30 with 22,000 viewers, followed by ‘Neerja’ at 17:15 with 13,700 viewers and ‘Duplicate’ at 11:15 with 12,600 viewers.
