Overnights: Cookery shows boost Rishtey on Tuesday in UK

While other channels continue to deliver new and original content, Rishtey has been striving with classic shows from the Viacom18 library.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com , Rishtey witnessed a boost and emerged as the third most watched Asian TV channel on Tuesday. It was its two-hour cookery slot during the afternoon that gave the channel a surge. The channel’s share stood at 0.05%, which was more than full fledged cookery channels – Hum Masala and Living Foodz – both, which raked in a share of 0.02%.

On Rishtey, ‘Strictly Street’ at 17:00 came up on top of the channel’s ratings with 25,800 viewers, followed by ‘The Great Indian Global Kitchen’ at 17:30 with 19,100 viewers and ‘Rasoi Show’ at 17:00 pulling in 18,500 viewers.
