Overnights: Colors takes lead on Xmas Day

Colors overtook Star Plus in a number of time-slots on Christmas Day, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The all-important primetime viewership was led by Colors with ‘Bigg Boss 8’ jumping to the top spot with 146,700 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Shastri Sisters’ at 22:30 with 120,300 viewers and ‘Uttaran’ at 22:00 with 113,200 viewers. The ‘Mirchi Top 20’ show at 15:00 attracted 18,900 viewers. Overall, Colors was ahead of Star Plus at 20:00, 20:30, 21:00, 22:00 and 22:30.

On Star Plus, ‘Veera’ at 22:30 remained top with 120,000 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ with 113,200 viewers at 23:00 and ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 87,200 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Meri Aashiqui’ at 20:30 was the biggest show with a huge 100,100 viewers and ‘Parichay’ at 20:00 with 41,400 viewers.
