Overnights: Colors slips in Monday night UK ratings

While Star Plus remained the most watched Asian entertainment channel in the UK on Monday night, Colors witnessed a fall in ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

Colors’ dependable show ‘Swaragini’ slumped to just 8,900 viewers at 21:00. The most watched show was ‘Ishq Ka Rang Safed’ at 20:30 with 36,400 viewers, followed by ‘Bigg Boss 9’ at 21:30 with a smaller than usual audience. It attracted 22,100 viewers at 21:30 despite a special twist hosted by Salman Khan.

On Star Plus, ‘Saathiya’ reigned with 153,200 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 134,500 viewers and ‘Suhani Si Ek Ladki’ at 18:30 with 113,800 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Thapki’ continued to lead with 74,300 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Kitani Mohabbat Hai’ at 19:30 with 61,600 viewers and ‘Uttaran’ at 18:30 with 45,300 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Gangaa’ at 20:00 was top show with 25,700 viewers, followed by ‘Bhaghyalakshmi’ repeat at 22:30 with 25,600 viewers and ‘Begusarai’ at 22:00 with 21,300 viewers. New show ‘Santoshi Maa’ at 19:30 attracted 11,000 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Mujhe Apna Bana Lo’ at 21:00 took lead with 28,900 viewers, followed by ‘Aik Thi Mishaal’ at 22:00 with 21,700 viewers and ‘Maan’ at 20:00 with 21,200 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Ali Ki Ammi’ at 20:00 was most watched with 47,100 viewers beating all shows in the slot except Star Plus and Rishtey. ‘Rishton Ki Dor’ at 21:00 pulled in 6,000 viewers.
