Overnights: Colors’ ‘Rising Star’ makes huge start in UK

Colors’ first ever singing reality show, ‘Rising Star’ got off to a massive start in UK ratings last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The show, which premiered on Colors yesterday was shown live in India – the first live reality show on Indian television. It was watched by 81,500 viewers at 21:00 – peaking at 105,700 viewers. It was the biggest launch on Colors since ‘Bigg Boss 10’ last October.

Other shows on the channel also did well with ‘Naagin 2’ repeat at 22:50 with 46,600 viewers, followed by ‘Devanshi’ at 19:00 with 31,700 viewers and ‘Naagin 2’ original telecast at 20:00 with 17,800 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ attracted 154,200 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Naamkarann’ with 125,400 viewers at 21:00 and ‘Ishqbaaaz’ at 21:30 with 118,000 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Thapki’ was watched by 46,900 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Madhubala’ at 19:30 with 33,900 viewers and ‘Uttaran’ at 18:30 with 32,000 viewers.

On &TV, movie ‘Agneepath’ at midday attracted 10,800 viewers, followed by ‘Hoshiyaar’ at 21:30 with 7,700 viewers and ‘Aadhe Adhoore’ at 19:30 with 6,200 viewers.

On Sony SAB TV, movie ‘Wazir’ was watched by 24,500 viewers, followed by ‘Crime Patrol’ at 21:10 with 24,200 viewers and film ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ at 16:15 with 4,700 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Natak’ topped ratings with 32,100 viewers, followed by ‘Bunty I Love You’ at 21:00 with 20,600 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Khuda Aur Mohabbat’ attracted 34,000 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Khushiyaan’ at 19:00 with 13,900 viewers and ‘Mera Kya Qusoor Tha’ at 21:00 with 8,200 viewers.
