The ratings war between Colors and Star Plus intensified in the UK last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.
In a rare move, Colors stepped up in the ratings between the crucial 20:30 – 22:00 slot against Star Plus. Here’s the breakdown:
Star Plus: Nisha Aur Uski Cousins – 52,400 viewers
Colors: Shastri Sisters – 68,700 viewers
Star Plus: Diya Aur Baati Hum – 77,500 viewers
Colors: BeIntehaa – 111,100 viewers

However, it was not all bad for Star Plus, as it still managed to attract the biggest audience for a show on UK Asian television last night. ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ was on top again with 130,600 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ with 124,400 viewers and ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Ek Baar Phir’ at 18:00 with 106,200 viewers.
On Rishtey, ‘Parichay’ was top with 37,100 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Meri Aashiqui’ with 34,700 viewers.
On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ stayed top with 64,700 viewers, followed by ‘Laut Aao Trisha’ with 39,900 viewers.
On Hum TV Europe, the final episode of ‘Dil-e-Muztar’ at 21:00 was top with 73,100 viewers – peaking at 106,400 viewers.
