Overnights: Colors leads competitive Sunday in UK

‘India’s Got Talent’ on Colors

Colors won the ratings battle on Sunday night despite some stiff competition from rivals, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The channel led with ‘India’s Got Talent’, which got its biggest audience with 100,400 viewers tuning in between 21:00 – 22:20. ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ at 22:20 did well too with 76,100 viewers and ‘Television Style Awards’ at 18:30 delivering 63,100 viewers. UK produced show ‘Desi Beats’ at 20:30 mustered in 8,500 viewers.

Star Plus was close behind with ‘Nach Baliye’ holding on to its audience from last week’s launch. It raked in a similar viewership with 89,400 viewers between 20:00 and 22:00. New show ‘Gulmohar Grand’ debuted with 49,000 viewers at 22:00.

Hum TV impressed too with ‘Mera Naseeb’ at 21:00 garnering 70,600 viewers, followed by ‘Zid’ with 45,800 viewers at 22:00 and ‘Nikkah’ dropping to 29,700 viewers at 20:00.

On &TV, the free television premiere of ‘Holiday’ pulled in 11,500 viewers at 18:00, followed by movie ‘Besharam’ at 12:00 with 5,900 viewers. ‘Killerr Karaoke’ at 21:00 could only garner 1,900 viewers.

On UMP Movies, ‘Fanaa’ delivered 13,000 viewers, while ‘Tevar’ got 5,100 viewers at 18:20.

On Star Gold, ‘Roy’ raked in 2,800 viewers at 20:00.

On Zing, 90s blockbuster ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’ was the most watched movie with 21,000 viewers at 20:30 – peaking at 37,800 viewers.

On PTC Punjabi, Red Carpet event of PTC Punjabi Awards got 20,000 viewers from 20:00.
