Overnights: Colors impresses on Tuesday in UK

Colors had one of its most consistent nights in UK ratings since it went HD last month, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

All primetime shows post 19:30 had an average audience of over 20,000 viewers – making it one of the most watched Asian TV channels last night in the UK. The biggest show on Colors on Tuesday night was ‘Swabhimaan’ at 21:30 with 34,300 viewers, followed by the repeat of ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’ at 22:30 with 33,700 viewers, ‘Shani’ at 22:00 with 30,100 viewers and ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ at 19:30 with 28,500 viewers.

Star Plus remained the firm favourite with ‘Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil’ returning to the No.1 position with 135,200 viewers, followed by ‘Naamkarann’ at 21:00 with 124,300 viewers and ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 113,900 viewers. ‘Ishqbaaaz’ climbed back with 98,800 viewers – its biggest audience since it moved to the 22:00 slot in the UK.

On Rishtey, ‘Uttaran’ was watched by 43,800 viewers at 18:30, followed by ‘Thapki’ at 20:00 with 24,300 viewers and ‘Balika Vadhu’ at 21:00 with 21,100 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Badho Bahu’ at 21:00 pulled in 22,600 viewers, followed by ‘Gangaa’ at 20:00 with 22,000 viewers and ‘Queens Hain Hum’ at 21:30 with 14,300 viewers.

On Hum TV, Choti Si Zindagi’ at 20:00 topped ratings with 59,300 viewers, followed by ‘Kuch Na Kaho’ at 22:00 with 36,100 viewers and ‘Susraal Mera’ at 21:00 with 35,500 viewers.

The Pakistan Super League continued to do well on Prime TV with 33,900 viewers tuning in for its coverage from 15:30. Geo TV’s coverage was watched by an average 2,400 viewers, while UK 44 scored with 3,600 viewers and A Plus Europe was rated zero.
