Overnights: ‘Chaalbaaz’ gives B4U Movies big push on Saturday in UK

B4U Movies topped the movie genre in UK ratings on Saturday, owing it to the success of 90s hit ‘Chaalbaaz’ starring Sridevi, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

B4U Movies raked in a share of 0.09% – putting it on par with Star Plus, at No.2. The two channels were behind Sony Entertainment Television and PTC Punjabi with a share of 0.10%.

‘Chaalbaaz’ was watched by 28,300 viewers at 17:15. B4U Movies’ also did well with the telecast of blockbuster ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’ at 20:15 with 12,900 viewers.

ZEE Cinema also did well with a share of 0.07% with ‘Rascals’ topping the channel with 18,100 viewers and ‘Mann’ at 09:00 with 16,200 viewers.

Sony MAX and Sony MAX 2 impressed with a share of 0.06%. Its biggest film titles were ‘Kyo Kii Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta’ at 19:00 on Sony MAX 2 was the biggest film on Sunday with 29,200 viewers and ‘Srinivasa Kalyanam’ at 15:00 on Sony MAX raked in 14,400 viewers.
