The much talked about Celebrity Cricket League, which made its launch yesterday on Colors and Rishtey, proved disappointing in the UK.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, the first match between Mumbai Heroes and Veer Marathi at 09:00 on Colors could only muster in 1,100 viewers – peaking at 10,300 viewers. The second match between Karnataka Bulldozers and Bhojpuri Dabanggs on Rishtey could only manage under 1,000 viewers – peaking at 5,300 viewers between 13:30 and 18:00.

On Star Plus, ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ reigned in the ratings with 132,000 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon -Ek Baar Phir’ at 18:00 with 101,800 viewers and ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ in third at 23:00 with 82,100 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss Halla Bol’ slipped in the ratings down to 51,300 viewers. This was the second episode hosted by Farah Khan. It will be interesting to see if Khan will be able to bring in the large viewership that Salman Khan attracted previously as host. ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ at 22:15 managed to pull in 24,700 viewers.
