Overnights: Bumper ratings for ‘Pavitra Rishta’ gives ZEE TV lift in UK

The re-run of ‘Pavitra Rishta’ on Wednesday gave ZEE TV a lift in UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The channel, which started broadcasting the series after the demise of lead actor, Sushant Singh Rajput, has been slowly gathering pace. On Wednesday, its audience spiked with 47,800 viewers switching on at 13:30. The show was among the top rated shows across all Asian TV networks on Wednesday.

ZEE TV sat at No.4 with a share of 0.04%, behind leader New Vision TV with 0.13%, followed by Star Plus with 0.12% and Sony TV with 0.11%.
