'Brits Bollywood' tops UK ratings

Zing’s UK film magazine show ‘Brits Bollywood’ got one of the biggest ever ratings yesterday and managed to top the UK Asian TV ratings.

The show, which aired at 11:30 yesterday saw presenter Asad Shan talk to ‘Trendsetters’ host Poppy about Bollywood fashion. According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘Brits Bollywood’ got a huge 57,000 viewers – peaking at 80,600 viewers.

‘Ten On Ten’ at 18:30 on Zing also did well with 11,100 viewers, followed by ‘Grinds My Teeth’ at 17:30 with 10,300 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘IIFA Weekend Rocks’ got 56,000 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘IIFA: Journey So Far’ at 22:00 pulling in 29,600 viewers.

On Rishtey, Pakistani drama ‘Mera Naseeb’ ending with an audience of 55,100 viewers at 20:30, followed by ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ (re-run) got 19,700 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ continued to dominate with 18,500 viewers for the 20:00 episode and a further 14,600 viewers at 22:00. ‘Shapath’ at 21:00 attracted 4,100 viewers. ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ omnibus from 10:00 got 1,200 viewers.
