Overnights: BritAsia TV triumphs over rivals on Friday in UK

BritAsia TV emerged as the No.1 Asian TV channel in UK ratings on Friday, beating the likes of Colors and Star Plus, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

BritAsia TV delivered a share of 0.15%, followed by Colors with 0.13%, Star Plus with 0.10%, Sony Entertainment Television with 0.09%, Geo TV with 0.08%, PTC Punjabi with 0.06%, Sony MAX 2 and Colors Rishtey with 0.05%, New Vision TV, Star Gold and Aaj Tak with 0.03%, Hum TV, Dunya News, Star Bharat, Sony SAB TV, NDTV 24×7, ABP News and Geo News with 0.02% and ZEE TV with 0.01%.

BritAsia TV’s top attractions on Friday were ‘Panjabi Anthems’ at 21:00 with 58,200 viewers, followed by ‘Trending Hits’ at 20:00 with 55,600 viewers and ‘Jasmine Sandlas Back to Back’ at 18:30, ‘Essential Hits’ at 19:00, ‘Mickey Singh Back to Back’ at 19:30 with 49,100 viewers each.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 13’ attracted 76,700 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’ at 19:30 with 45,200 viewers and ‘Bepanah Pyarr’ at 23:15 with 24,000 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 was top show with 39,900 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ at 19:30 with 38,800 viewers, ‘Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum’ at 20:00 with 30,400 viewers, ‘Sanjivani’ at 19:00 with 29,200 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 25,000 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 18:00 with 19,500 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 17,500 viewers, ‘Nazar’ ‘Dadi Amma Maan Jao’ at 18:30 with 11,700 viewers and ‘Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka’ at 22:00 with 7,900 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Beyhadh 2’ took top spot with 42,300 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:00 with 37,900 viewers, ‘Patiala Babes’ at 20:30 with 34,100 viewers and ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’ at 21:30 with 25,100 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Tu Mera Junoon’ led with 35,300 viewers, followed by ‘Mohabbat Na Kariyo’ at 20:00 with 36,400 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Kun Faya Kun’ was watched by 10,900 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Mehboob Apke Qadmon Mein’ at 21:00 with 7,600 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Guddan’ pulled in 18,600 viewers at 18:30.
