The star-studded cricket tournament, Box Cricket League has made a decent start in UK ratings on Saturday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

‘Box Cricket League, now in its second year, kicked off on Colors yesterday with an average 19,700 viewers – peaking at 40,500 viewers between 17:00 – 18:30. The show is expected to pick up further as the competition intensifies between the television stars. Box Cricket League was the second most watched show on Colors last night after ‘Naagin’, which pulled in 43,000 viewers at 19:00. Elsewhere on Colors yesterday, ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ at 21:00 pulled in 19,500 viewers and ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’ at 22:00 with 8,800 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 registered 136,200 viewers, followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 130,400 viewers and ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 18:00 with 124,100 viewers. ‘Suhani Si Ek Ladki’ at 18:30 raked in 101,300 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Thapki’ led with 33,000 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Madhubala’ at 19:30 with 31,800 viewers and ‘Phulwa’ at 19:00 with 28,900 viewers.

On &TV, movie ‘Ram Lakhan’ got the biggest audience for a movie yesterday on UK Asian TV networks with 42,300 viewers, followed by ‘Agent Raghav’ at 21:00 with 9,300 viewers and ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ at 20:00 with 7,000 viewers.

On SAB TV, ‘Lagge Raho Munnabhai’ at 14:00 pulled in 19,700 viewers, followed by ‘Ram Leela’ at 20:00 with 2,500 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Gul-e-Rana’ impressed with 106,000 viewers at 20:00 – peaking at 135,000 viewers, followed by ‘Mata-e-Jaan’, which launched with 62,500 viewers, ‘Mr Shamim’ at 19:30 with 31,500 viewers and ‘Extras’ at 19:00 with 29,900 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Maikay Ko Dey Do Sandesh’ at 19:30 was top with 14,500 viewers, followed by ‘Numm’ at 20:00 with 1,000 viewers.
