Overnights: ‘Bigg Boss 9’ struggles on Saturday

The first weekend episode of ‘Bigg Boss 9’ since its launched last Sunday, struggled last night, despite the presence of Salman Khan, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

‘Bigg Boss 9’ last night was watched by just 15,800 viewers between 21:00 – 22:30 – peaking at 29,600 viewers. The episode featured special appearances by Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt who came on to promote their film ‘Shaandaar’. It was third in the pecking order of Colors’ shows last night after ‘Udaan’ at 20:00 with 23,800 viewers and ‘Ishq Ka Rang Safed’ at 20:30 with 20,200 viewers. ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’ at 22:30 pulled in 8,900 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ bounced back to the top with 95,800 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 17:30 with 85,700 viewers and ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ at 21:00 with 81,100 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Thapki’ led with 76,000 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Pabband Ishq’ at 20:30 with 16,500 viewers and ‘Nail Polish’ at 19:30 with 14,900 viewers. ‘Code Red’ at 21:30 was watched by 5,000 viewers.

On &TV, movie ‘Khiladi’ at midday took lead with 15,100 viewers, followed by ‘Agent Raghav’ at 21:00 with 13,200 viewers and ‘Deal Or No Deal’ at 20:00 with 9,700 viewers.

On SAB TV, movie ‘3 Idiots’ grabbed 8,000 viewers at 21:00. The first day of its coverage of the ‘Indian Super League’ at 14:30 rated zero.

On Hum TV, ‘Mol’ at 20:00 registered 25,900 viewers – peaking at 41,800 viewers, followed by ‘Dastaan’ at 21:00 with 22,400 viewers and telefilm ‘Dhoke Baaz’ at 22:00 with 8,200 viewers.
