Overnights: ‘Bigg Boss 8’ edges closer to record 200k mark
Last night’s ‘Bigg Boss 8’ episode got record high ratings – edging closer to the 200,000 mark in terms of viewers, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.
The reality show, which featured Arjun Kapoor promoting his next ‘Tevar’, pulled in a massive 190,600 viewers – peaking at a record 274,400 viewers. It is expected to grow further as the show reaches its climax next month. ‘Bigg Boss 8’ was easily the most watched show on UK Asian television last night. ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ at 22:20 featuring Ranbir Kapoor, pulled in 88,200 viewers.
On Star Plus, ‘Airlines’ at 21:00 was top with 68,000 viewers, followed by ‘India’s Raw Star’ at 19:00 with 24,100 viewers.
On Rishtey, ‘Halla Bol’ was top with 7,500 viewers, followed by ‘Adhooray Aurat’ at 20:30 with 3,100 viewers.
On Hum TV Europe, ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’ got the highest ever viewership with 110,500 viewers, followed by ‘Digest Writer’ with 80,400 viewers at 20:00.
