Overnights: ‘Bigg Boss 8’ continues to lead in UK

Colors continued to dominate weekend ratings amongst UK Asian TV channels with ‘Bigg Boss 8’ leading all the way, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

‘Bigg Boss 8’ featuring last year’s winner Gauahar Khan pulled in a very impressive 139,500 viewers – peaking at 197,000 viewers. It was followed by ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ featuring the cast of ‘Happy New Year’ with 109,400 viewers. The film ‘Dabangg’ at 18:30 managed to attract 22,300 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Satymev Jayate’ at 11:00 was the top show with 84,800 viewers – peaking at 116,300 viewers, followed by ‘Star Box Office India Awards’ at 19:00 with 74,200 viewers and ‘Mumkin Hai’ at 12:30 with 28,800 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ at 21:45 attracted 16,400 viewers, while the reality show ‘Dare 2 Dance’ grabbed 15,900 viewers.

On Hum TV Europe, ‘Digest Writer’ at 20:00 was the third most watched show on UK Asian television with 108,500 viewers – the biggest ever for the show. ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’ at 21:00 pulled in 76,400 viewers at 21:00.
