Overnights: ‘Bigg Boss 8’ continues to lead 21:00 slot

Superhit reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss 8’ was back in charge of the 21:00 slot last night despite tough competition from Star Plus and Hum TV Europe.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘Bigg Boss 8′ pulled in 142,600 viewers – peaking at 188,900 viewers. In the same slot, Star Plus’ ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum at 21:00 raked in 140,900 viewers and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 managed just 78,200 viewers. On Hum TV Europe, ‘Kankar’ drew in 82,000 viewers.

Also on Colors, ‘Udaan’ at 20:00 drew in 65,400 viewers, followed by ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ at 19:30 with 63,100 viewers and ‘BeIntehaa’ the third most watched fiction on the chnanel with 55,800 viewers.

On Star Plus, the top show was ‘Ek Hasina Thi’ with 157,700 viewers, followed by ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ and ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ in third with 137,900 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Meri Aashiqui’ at 20:30 was top show with 34,000 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh’ at 21:30 pulled in 49,700 viewers, followed by ‘Laut Aao Trisha’ at 21:00 with 35,000 viewers and ‘Savdhaan India’ in third with 34,300 viewers.

On Hum TV Europe, ‘Shanaakht’ also did well at 20:00 with 87,000 viewers – making it the top show on the channel.
