Overnights: ‘Bigg Boss 14’ opens up with peak of over 100k viewers

Colors is rejoicing after ‘Bigg Boss 14’ opened up with a peak of over 100,000 viewers on Saturday night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The popular series hosted by Salman Khan, was watched by a staggering average audience of 87,800 viewers at 21:30 – peaking at 128,000 viewers. This was nearly double the audience to the opening of ‘Bigg Boss 13’ last year, when it clocked only 39,100 viewers on Sunday 29th September 2019.

Colors also did well last night with ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’ at 23:15 and 19:30 with 57,900 viewers and 26,000 viewers respectively. ‘Shakti’ repeat at 01:00 fetched 22,500 viewers.

Colors was by far the most watched Asian TV broadcaster on Saturday with a share of 0.18%, followed by Sony TV with 0.10%, Star Plus with 0.08%, ZEE Cinema with 0.04%, Star Gold, Hum TV, Geo TV, Colors Rishtey and ZEE TV with 0.03%, Hum Masala, Geo News, Samaa TV, PTC Punjabi and Aaj Tak with 0.02%.

On Sony TV, ‘India’s Best Dancer’ was watched by 66,900 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 21:30 with 31,600 viewers and ‘Crime Patrol’ at 23:00 with 10,200 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Anupamaa’ led with 74,900 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 54,300 viewers, ‘Shaadi Mubarak’ at 20:30 with 38,500 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 26,500 viewers, ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ at 19:30 with 18,900 viewers, ‘Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka’ at 22:00 with 16,900 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 19:00 with 16,300 viewers and ‘Lockdown Ki Love Story’ at 18:30 with 10,200 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Mushk’ was watched by 27,800 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Malaal’ at 21:00 with 16,100 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Umeed’ led with 16,600 viewers at 19:00.

On ZEE TV, ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa – Lil Champs’ at 19:00 was watched by 17,600 viewers.
