Overnights: ‘Bigg Boss 12’ closes in on ‘Ishqbaaaz’ for No.1 fight on Friday in UK

Star Plus remained the UK’s No.1 Asian TV channel in Friday’s ratings, with another battle for the top spot amongst the shows, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus’ ‘Ishqbaaaz’ climbed to the top with an audience of 62,200 viewers at 20:00 – just slightly ahead of ‘Bigg Boss 12’ on Colors, which drew 59,700 viewers at 21:00. However, it was Star Plus, whose shows appeared amongst the most watched on Friday. After ‘Ishqbaaaz’, it was ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ pulling in 60,200 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 56,000 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ and ‘Mariam Khan’ both with 48,900 viewers.

Where Star Plus attracted the biggest share with 0.18%, it was followed in the list by Sony TV with 0.10%, New Vision TV with 0.08%, Colors with 0.07%, Geo News with 0.06%, Rishtey with 0.04%, Hum TV and ZEE TV with 0.03%.

Sony TV’s biggest attractions on Friday were ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ at 21:00 with 42,700 viewers, followed by ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:00 with 25,300 viewers and ‘Crime Patrol’ with 13,600 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Baandi’ fetched 17,800 viewers, followed by ‘Aik Larki Aam Si’ at 23:00 with 12,000 viewers and ‘Saanwri’ at 22:30 with 4,900 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Kundali Bhagya’ led with 13,100 viewers, followed by ‘Guddan’ at 18:30 with 9,500 viewers and ‘Tujhse Hi Raabta’ repeat at 11:00 with 6,300 viewers.
