Overnights: ‘BeIntehaa’ passes 100k reach in UK

Colors has finally got a success in its fiction after ‘BeIntehaa’ smashed through the 100k mark in the UK ratings last night.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘BeIntehaa’ pulled in a record high 113,300 viewers at 21:00 – peaking at 140,700 viewers – the biggest ever for a fiction on Colors. While events and movies have done well for Colors in the UK, fictions have taken slightly longer to connect with UK viewers. However, the 21:00 – 22:00 band is building on its audiences with an increase on a daily basis. ‘Rangrasiya’, which airs at 21:30 on Colors got 55,000 viewers. ‘Balika Vadhu’ at 20:00 raked in 58,600 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ was the top show in the UK with 190,700 viewers, followed by ‘Mahabharat’ with 142,400 viewers and ‘Saathiya’ in third with 140,800 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Parichay’ and ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ at 20:00 and 20:30 both attracted 111,000 viewers – with the latter peaking higher to 146,000 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, the latest Asia Cup 2014 match between Pakistan and Bangladesh averaged with a huge 31,800 viewers – peaking at 109,200 viewers. ‘Tumhari Paakhi’ at 21:15 was the most watched show with 39,700 viewers. ‘Savdhaan India’ did well too with 27,100 viewers.
