‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’, which has been steadily climbing up the ratings on Rishtey, has delivered the best ever figures last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

Yesterday’s episode of ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’, which aired at 19:30 pulled in a record high 143,500 viewers – peaking at 171,800 viewers – the biggest ever for the channel for a fiction show. In second place was ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ at 20:30 with 102,000 viewers and ‘Na Aana Iss Desh Laado’ at 21:00 in third with 79,900 viewers. ‘Parichay’ was next with 70,100 viewers.

On sister channel, Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 7’ also delivered the biggest ever ratings since it launched with 113,700 viewers – peaking at 153,400 viewers. In second place was ‘Madhubala’ with 35,600 viewers and ‘Uttaran’ next with 27,400 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ was the most watched show last night in the UK with 197,600 viewers, followed by ‘Meri Bhabhi’ with 197,100 viewers and ‘SaraswatiChandra’ next with 194,000 viewers.

The others in the pecking order were ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ (191,700), ‘Mahabharat’ (153,800), ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (136,700), ‘Saathiya’ (121,500), ‘Ek Ghar Banaunga’ (100,200), ‘Veera’ (98,600) and ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ (49,300).

On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ was back on top with 56,300 viewers at 22:30, followed by the re-runs of ‘Geet’ with 39,600 viewers and ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ with 27,800 viewers. ‘Mahadev’ got 22,400 viewers and ‘Ek Boond Ishq’ with 18,700 viewers.
