Overnights: ‘Bani’ edges out ‘SaraswatiChandra’
Popular show ‘SaraswatiChandra’ was edged out in last night’s ratings by rival ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’, proving another victory for the Rishtey show.
According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ pulled in 124,900 viewers at 19:30 – peaking at 153,600 viewers – it was ahead only slightly of ‘SaraswatiChandra’, which airs at the same time on Star Plus. The competing show managed to attract 124,300 viewers – peaking higher with 155,000 viewers.
Rishtey’s ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ proved another success with with 79,800 viewers, followed by ‘Parichay’ with 76,400 viewers at 20:00
The most watched show on UK Asian TV was ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 233,100 viewers – peaking at 275,100 viewers, followed by ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ with 172,800 viewers and ‘Meri Bhabhi’ in third with 137,800 viewers.
On Colors, ‘Rangrasiya’ returned to the top after a sabbatical. It pulled in 69,700 viewers, followed by ‘BeInethaa’ with 61,600 viewers.
On Star Life Ok, ‘Ek Boond Ishq’ was top show on the channel with 35,100 viewers, followed by ‘Welcome 2’ with 21,200 viewers.
