Overnights: ‘Bani’ beats ‘SaraswatiChandra’ in 19:30 slot
In a good performance for Rishtey last night, ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’, which airs at 19:30 beat the popular ‘SaraswatiChandra’ on rival Star Plus.
According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ pulled in 109,700 viewers – peaking at 130,300 viewers, while ‘SaraswatiChandra’ on the other side could only muster in 101,700 viewers at the same time.
Rishtey’s other shows did relatively well too including ‘Parichay’ at 20:00, which got 73,700 viewers and ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ at 20:30 garnering 98,000 viewers. However, they were no match for the shows on market leader, Star Plus. ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ was the UK’s most watched Asian show with 140,600 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 23:00 with 139,800 viewers and ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 135,200 viewers.
On Colors, ‘Rangrasiya’ pushed back to the top spot with 60,800 viewers and ‘BeIntehaa’ next with 41,100 viewers.
On Star Life Ok, ‘Tumhari Paakhi’ was the top show with 23,000 viewers, followed by ‘Welcome 2’ with 21,500 viewers.
