The re-run of ‘Balika Vadhu’ on Rishtey got the better of Star Plus’ recently launched show ‘Naamkarann’ on Friday night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

‘Balika Vadhu’, which only re-started in the UK on Rishtey earlier this week, has slowly been creeping up the ratings chart. Last night, it was watched by 66,800 viewers between 21:00 and 21:30. It was the slot leader, while ‘Naamkarann’ on Star Plus at 21:00 could only muster in 33,400 viewers. The Mahesh Bhatt show has been struggling in UK ratings and is yet to make a splash in this territory.

Also on Rishtey, ‘Uttaran’ at 18:30 was watched by 32,200 viewers, followed by ‘Madhubala’ at 19:30 and ‘Kasam’ at 20:30 both raking in 29,800 viewers. ‘Bandini’ at 21:30 delivered 28,700 viewers.

On Star Plus, the biggest show was ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 142,100 viewers, followed by ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 18:00 with 117,900 viewers and ‘Suhani Si Ek Ladki’ at 18:30 with 117,400 viewers.

On Zing, the first Twenty20 match between Pakistan and West Indies was top on the channel with 21,900 viewers between 17:00 and 20:30. It peaked to 32,600 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Swaragini’ led with 21,200 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Shakti’ at 20:00 with 3,500 viewers and ‘Krishndasi’ at 21:30 with 2,600 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Tere Bin’ repeat at 00:30 took lead on the channel with 34,400 viewers, followed by ‘Gangaa’ with 33,900 viewers at 20:00 and ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ at 20:30 with 25,700 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Jhoot’ got its biggest ever audience with 70,000 viewers tuning in at 20:00, followed by ‘Dharkan’ at 21:00 with 39,600 viewers and ‘Sanam’ repeat at 22:00 with 25,100 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Joru Ka Ghulam’ at 21:00 fetched 32,200 viewers, followed by ‘Sang Dil’ at 22:00 with 19,200 viewers.

On SAB TV, movie ‘Fan’ starring Shah Rukh Khan pulled in 9,800 viewers.
