Overnights: ‘Bala’ premiere puts Star Gold in front on Sunday in UK

The premiere of ‘Bala’ starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar was enough to give Star Gold a ratings surge over its movie rival channels on Sunday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The film was the most watched across all Asian TV networks on Sunday with an audience of 20,400 viewers at 13:00 – peaking at 41,200 viewers. The film will also premiere on Star Plus UK this weekend, which is expected to bring in similar numbers.

‘Namaste England’ on B4U Movies also did well with 13,700 viewers at 20:15, while ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ on Colors Cinplex was watched by 13,500 viewers at 15:15.
