Overnights: B4U Music overtakes ZEE TV & Sony TV on Wednesday

B4U Music, which is riding high as the UK’s most watched Asian music channel, has impressed again with its ratings on Wednesday, beating Hindi entertainment channels, ZEE TV and Sony Entertainment Television, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

B4U Music’s share stood at 0.03%, while ZEE TV struggled with 0.01% and Sony TV at 0.02%. Star Plus remained miles ahead with 0.25%.

B4U Music, which predominantly is a Bollywood playlist channel with back to back music videos, also has lifestyle and Bollywood news segments intersperse. The channel’s top show on Wednesday was ‘Boom Box’ at 20:00 with 18,700 viewers. Comparatively, ZEE TV’s top show ‘Piyaa Albela’ at 19:00 could only manage 7,000 viewers, while Sony TV’s ‘Mere Sai’ led with 11,400 viewers.

Star Plus reinforced its position as the leader with ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ being watched by 125,700 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Chakravyuh’ at 20:00 and ‘Naamkarann’ at 21:00 both pulling in 86,400 viewers. ‘Chandra Nandini’ at 20:30 pulled in 66,200 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 11’ at 21:00 delivered 19,300 viewers, followed by ‘Tu Aashiqui’ at 20:30 with 19,100 viewers and ‘Savitri Devi College & Hospital’ at 19:00 with 15,200 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Shab-e-Zindagi’ led with 27,600 viewers, followed by ‘Thori Si Wafa’ at 19:30 with 20,600 viewers and ‘Mein Maa Nahi Bana Chahti Hoon’ at 22:00 with 11,900 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Laut Ke Chalay Aana’ at 20:00 attracted 2,800 viewers.
