Overnights: B4U Music outperforms rivals in UK

B4U Music outperformed some of the bigger Asian entertainment channels in the UK on Tuesday night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The popular channel, which recently registered to UK audience measuring body, BARB, has delivered some interesting figures thusfar, leaving rivals behind. Looking at data for last night, B4U Music had a solid audience between 20:30 and 23:00 with ‘Sooper Hits’ at 21:30 topping the ratings with 15,300 viewers. ‘Bollywood Bang Bang’ at 21:00 registered 14,800 viewers and ‘Solid Hits’ at 22:30 with 14,700 viewers.

Star Plus remained the nation’s favourite with ‘Saathiya’ taking the lead with 129,400 viewers at 19:00, followed by ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 120,900 viewers and ‘Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil’ at 20:00 with 117,100 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 10’ stayed ahead with 68,900 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Udann’ at 20:30 with 18,200 viewers and ‘Devanshi’ at 19:00 with 10,400 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Uttaran’ at 18:30 fetched 46,100 viewers, followed by ‘Madhubala’ at 19:30 with 31,900 viewers and ‘Thapki’ at 20:00 with 27,800 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Gangaa’ was top show with 40,500 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Queens Hain Hum’ repeat at 00:30 with 24,400 viewers and the original at 21:30 with 22,100 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Meri Saheli Meri Bhabhi’ at 19:30 topped ratings with 38,700 viewers, followed by ‘Dhaani’ at 20:00 with 20,700 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Choti Si Zindagi’ at 20:00 fetched 31,900 viewers, followed by ‘Badguman’ at 19:30 with 18,300 viewers and ‘Khoya Khoya Chand’ at 21:00 with 14,300 viewers.
