Overnights: B4U Movies continues to surprise; leads movie genre on Thursday

Despite bigger blockbusters being aired on rival channels, B4U Movies emerged as the No.1 Bollywood film channel on Thursday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

B4U Movies delivered a share of 0.05%, followed by Rishtey Cineplex with 0.04%, Star Gold and ZEE Cinema with 0.02% and Sony MAX registering zero. The top film on B4U Movies was ‘Chal Bhaag’ at 13:30 with 26,200 viewers.

Star Plus was the biggest Asian TV channel in the UK with a share of 0.17%. The top rated shows were ‘Dil Sambhal Ja Zara’ at 22:00 with 99,200 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 87,500 viewers and ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 70,000 viewers.

Hum TV was next with a share of 0.09%. Its top shows were ‘Daldal’ at 20:00 with 47,500 viewers, followed by ‘Diyar-e-Dil’ at 21:00 with 34,200 viewers and ‘Mein Maa Nahi Bana Chahti Hoon’ at 22:00 with 24,100 viewers.

Sony SAB TV impressed yesterday with a share of 0.07%. Its movie telecast of ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hai’ at 10:30 raked in 27,200 viewers – making it the biggest movie on UK Asian TV on Thursday.

Hum Masala was next with a share of 0.05%. Its top show was ‘Evening With Shireen’ at 17:00 with 21,900 viewers.

Colors clocked up a share of 0.04%. Its top show was ‘Bigg Boss 11’ at 21:00, pulling in 56,300 viewers.

Sony Entertainment Television was next with a share of 0.03% with ‘Mere Sai’ on top. It was watched by 22,700 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai’ at 22:00 with 21,200 viewers.

ZEE TV remained low with 0.01%.
