Overnights: Asian TV channels take a nosedive in UK ratings on Tuesday

Asian TV channels continued to perform with disappointing numbers on Tuesday, with leading broadcasters Star Plus and Sony TV also taking a nosedive, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Plus and Sony TV delivered a share of 0.06%, followed by Sony MAX with 0.04%, Colors Rishtey, Colors, ZEE Cinema, Geo News, New Vision TV and PTC Punjabi with 0.03%, ZEE TV, Colors Cineplex, PTC Punjabi, NDTV 24×7, BritAsia TV, Venus TV, Kanshi TV, Republic Bharat and Geo TV with 0.02%.

Star Plus’ top attractions on Tuesday were ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 35,500 viewers, followed by ‘Shaadi Mubarak’ at 20:30 with 30,900 viewers, ‘Anupamaa’ at 20:00 with 28,200 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 26,400 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 19:00 with 19,700 viewers, ‘Lockdown Ki Love Story’ at 18:30 with 13,900 viewers, ‘Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka’ at 22:00 with 6,100 viewers and ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ at 19:30 with 3,700 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’ was biggest show in UK on Tuesday with 75,500 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Indiawaali Ma’ at 20:30 with 36,000 viewers and ‘Crime Patrol’ at 21:30 with 12,900 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’ was top show with 19,000 viewers, followed by ‘Naati Pinky Ki Lambi Love Story’ at 21:00 with 14,900 viewers and ‘Shubharambh’ repeat at 23:30 with 10,600 viewers.

On Colors Rishtey, ‘Balika Vadhu’ led with 16,800 viewers, 16,600 viewers and 16,100 viewers at 21:00, 21:30 and 22:00 respectively.

On Hum TV, ‘Kashf’ was watched by 39,900 viewers at 20:00.

On ZEE TV, ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ was top show with 16,000 viewers at 21:30.
