Overnights: Asian TV channels continue to plummet on Easter Monday

Asian TV broadcasters continued to lose ground in UK ratings on Easter Monday, with a three-way tie at the top in UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

New Vision TV, ZEE TV and ZEE Cinema were top with a share of just 0.05%, followed by Sony Entertainment Television, Sony MAX, Sony SAB TV and Geo TV with 0.04%, Star Plus, Star Gold, Hum TV, Colors, Venus TV and Dunya News with 0.03%, Sony MAX 2, Samaa, Colors Cineplex and Colors Rishtey with 0.02%.

New Vision TV’s top attractions on Monday were ‘Sports Room’ at 13:30 with 21,000 viewers, followed by ‘Headline News’ at 13:00 with 16,000 viewers and ‘Zimaydar Kaun’ at 12:05 with 11,800 viewers. ‘Headline News’ at 22:00 pulled in 38,800 viewers.

On ZEE TV, movie ‘Bol Radha Bol’ was watched by 24,300 viewers at 16:30, followed by ‘Baarish’ at 20:30 with 17,200 viewers, ‘Karle Tu Bhi Mohabbat’ at 19:30 with 12,900 viewers and ‘Kehna Ko Humsafar Hai’ at 21:00 with 8,600 viewers.

On Sony Entertainment Television, ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’ raked in 24,300 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Crime Patrol’ at 23:30 with 19,900 viewers and the 00:30 episode with 14,600 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ attracted 16,700 viewers at 14:30, followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 15:30 with 13,300 viewers and ‘Hostages’ launched with 8,000 viewers at 22:30.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 13’ topped ratings with 14,400 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’ at midnight with 11,300 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Muqaddar’ led with 17,000 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Khoobseerat’ with 16,200 viewers at 21:00 and ‘Munafiq’ at 19:00 with 13,600 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Daasi’ at 20:00 topped ratings with 25,600 viewers, followed by ‘Sang-e-Mar Mar’ at 21:00 with 15,700 viewers and ‘Tera Yahan Koi Nahi’ 13,100 viewers.

On ZEE Cinema, ‘Rocky’ at 18:00 was watched by 14,600 viewers.

On Sony MAX, ‘Piku’ raked in 16,400 viewers at 20:00.

On Star Gold, ‘Ek Villain’ pulled in 7,600 viewers at 21:00.
