Overnights: ‘Ashoka’ propels Colors on Thursday

Colors’ made a splash in UK ratings last night with ‘Ashoka’ giving the channel a much needed push, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

‘Ashoka’, which was recently shunted to the late night slot of 23:20 has managed to do tremendously well for the channel with 35,500 viewers tuning in yesterday. ‘Krishndasi’ at 21:30 was in second place with 22,900 viewers, ’24 India’ at 22:20 was watched by 22,900 viewers and ‘Swaragini’ at 21:00 with 11,700 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Saathiya’ held on to the lead with 126,400 viewers at 19:00, followed by ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 18:00 with 124,700 viewers, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 113,400 viewers, ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ at 21:00 with 110,800 viewers and ‘Suhani Si Ek Ladki’ at 18:30 with 110,300 viewers. New show ‘Ishqbaaaz’ at 21:30 fetched 92,500 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Jaltay Gulab’ at 21:00 pulled in 16,700 viewers, followed by ‘Kasam’ repeat at 22:30 with 14,000 viewers and ‘Bandini’ at 21:30 with 6,300 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ at 20:30 raked in 13,600 viewers, followed by ‘Gangaa’ at 20:00 with 13,000 viewers and ‘Waaris’ at 19:00 with 7,600 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Pakeeza’ did well with 74,000 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Haya Ka Daaman’ at 19:30 with 30,000 viewers, ‘Deewana’ at 22:00 with 24,500 viewers and ‘Mohabbat Rooth Jaye To’ at 21:00 with 23,200 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Joru Ka Ghulam’ was top with 9,000 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Sila Aur Jannat’ at 19:00 with 3,000 viewers and ‘Meri Saheli Meri Bhabhi’ at 19:30 with 2,700 viewers.
