Overnights: ‘Article 15’ & ‘Udta Punjab’ put ZEE Cinema at No.1 on Sunday

The UK television premiere of ‘Article 15’ and the telecast of hard-hitting film ‘Udta Punjab’, gave ZEE Cinema victory over its rivals on Sunday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

ZEE Cinema led the pack with a share of 0.12%, followed by Sony Entertainment Television and Colors Rishtey with 0.05%, Star Plus, Aaj Tak and ZEE TV with 0.04%, Hum TV, New Vision TV, Colors Cineplex, Aaj Tak and Sony Max 2 with 0.03%, Star Gold, B4U Music, Republic Bharat and Samaa TV with 0.02% and Geo TV, Colors, Star Bharat, B4U Movies and Sony MAX with 0.01%.

ZEE Cinema’s top attractions were ‘Article 15’ with 29,400 viewers at 18:00, followed by ‘Udta Punjab’ at 21:00 with 17,600 viewers and ‘Welcome Back’ at 15:00 with 14,100 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Best of The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 18:15 led with 23,500 viewers, followed by ‘Crime Patrol’ at 01:00 with 14,300 viewers and ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ at 19:15 with 9,600 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Devon Ke Dev Mahadev’ pulled in 16,300 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ at 14:30 with 10,800 viewers and movie ‘Panga’ at 15:30 with 8,000 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Naati Pinky Ki Lambi Love Story’ topped ratings with 5,700 viewers at midday, followed by ‘Mahabharat’ at 14:00 with 4,100 viewers. ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ fresh episode proved disappointing with 1,300 viewers at 21:00.

On Colors Rishtey, ‘Dharam Thi Gujarati’ was top show with 14,800 viewers, followed by ‘Dharam Thi Gujarati’ at 17:30 with 14,400 viewers and ‘Desi Beat’ at 18:00 with 12,700 viewers.

On ZEE TV, movie ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ led with 13,600 viewers at 22:00, followed by ‘Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai’ at 14:00 with 9,800 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Sabaat’ was watched by 21,000 viewers at 20:00.
