Overnights: ‘Arjun’ tops UK weekend ratings

The popular crime thriller drama ‘Arjun’ managed to climb its way back to the top of the ratings in the UK, despite strong opposition from rivals shows.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘Arjun’ was the most watched show on Sunday with 134,100 viewers on Star Plus at 20:00, while the Saturday edition got 47,500 viewers. The Indian Television Awards on Sunday night at 21:00 was next up in the pecking order with 103,700 viewers. The ‘Junior MasterChef’ finale episode drew in 92,100 viewers on Saturday night.

On Rishtey, new Pakistani drama ‘Mera Qatil Mera Dildar’ pulled in 66,800 viewers on Saturday, while the Sunday edition got 50,800 viewers. ‘India’s Got Talent’ on Saturday night at 21:30 was quite popular too with 48,500 viewers and the Sunday edition getting 19,400 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 7’ was watched by 44,500 viewers on Saturday, while the Sunday episode got 75,500 viewers. The ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ repeat at 22:10 pulled in 51,400 viewers. The Sunday episode was viewed by 34,700 viewers.
