The action crime thriller ‘Arjun’ has once again proved a hit and the most popular weekend show on UK Asian telly, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

‘Arjun’, which airs Saturday-Sunday at 20:00, was the most watched on Saturday and on top of the UK Asian TV ratings on Sunday too with 94,800 viewers – peaking at 117,300 viewers. ‘Junior MasterChef’ at 21:00 raked in 49,200 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ mini omnibus at 10:00 managed just 600 viewers. The repeat Uttarkhand special at 11:00 mustered in 400 viewers. ‘Shapath’ at 21:00 managed to become the most watched show on the channel with 11,100 viewers.

On Rishtey, Pakistani drama ‘Maat’ at 20:30 pulled in 57,200 viewers, followed by ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ (re-run) at 21:30 getting 51,900 viewers.

The blockbuster movie line-up on UMP Movies was a hit with viewers yesterday with ‘Barfi’ at 15:55 getting 31,600 viewers, followed by ‘Kai Po Che’ first telecast at 18:45 with 23,700 viewers and the repeat telecast at 21:00 with 12,000 viewers. ‘Jodha Akbar’ at 11:55 got 500 viewers.

On Zing, ‘Two To Tango’ was the most watched show on the channel with 44,000 viewers, followed by ‘Ten On Ten’ with 22,800 viewers and ‘Bollywood Business’ with 13,200 viewers.
