Overnights: ‘Anupamaa’ takes lead on Star Plus for first time in UK

A solid performance by Star Plus’ newly launched series ‘Anupamaa’, helmed by Rajan Shahi, kept the channel at No.1 in UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Plus delivered a share of 0.12%, followed by Sony TV with 0.11%, New Vision TV with 0.07%, Sony MAX with 0.06%, ZEE TV, PTC Punjabi and Colors Rishtey with 0.05%, Republic Bharat with 0.04%, Star Bharat, B4U Movies, BritAsia TV, Aaj Tak and NDTV 24×7 with 0.03%, Colors, Colors Cineplex, Star Gold and Sony MAX 2 with 0.02%, Hum TV and Geo TV with 0.01%.

On Star Plus, ‘Anupamaa’ led with 63,600 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ at 19:30 with 50,000 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 25,700 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 25,600 viewers, ‘Mahabharat’ at 18:00 with 24,000 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 19:00 with 17,200 viewers and ‘Saathiya’ at 13:30 with 16,000 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’ was watched by 27,300 viewers at 21:45, followed by ‘Patiala Babes’ at 21:15 with 24,900 viewers, ‘Indian Idol 11’ at 18:00 with 21,900 viewers and ‘Crime Patrol’ at 14:30 with 20,200 viewers.

On Sony MAX, ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ at 13:00 and ‘Dhoom 3’ at 17:00 topped ratings with 9,100 viewers.

On ZEE TV, movie ‘Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya’ led with 20,400 viewers at 15:00, followed by ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ at 11:00 with 6,900 viewers.

On Colors Rishtey, ‘Dharam Thi Gujarati’ at 16:00 was watched by 26,700 viewers, followed by ‘Rasoi Show’ at 16:30 with 26,200 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’ pulled in 14,800 viewers at 19:30.

On Hum TV, ‘Udaari’ raked in 4,200 viewers at 21:00.
