'Airlines' topped Sunday Star Plus ratings in UK

The launch of new fiction ‘Airlines’ on Star Plus took the initial lead in UK Asian TV ratings, it had more than double the ratings that of ‘India’s Raw Star’.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘Airlines’ at 21:00 pulled in 41,500 viewers – peaking at 58,300 viewers, followed by ‘India’s Raw Talent’ at 19:00 with 17,400 viewers. The repeat at 22:00 did slightly better with 17,800 viewers.

However, it was ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ at 21:00 on Colors that reigned in the UK Asian TV ratings overall, with 52,100 viewers tuning in. ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ at 22:30 pulled in 35,500 viewers and ‘The Anupam Kher Show’ featuring David Dhawan and Varun Dhawan pulled in 32,600 viewers.

On Hum Europe, the second episode of ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’ doubled its audience since launch on Saturday with 33,500 viewers at 21:00.

On Rishtey, ‘Aamna Saamna’ at 21:30 was top show with 27,600 viewers and Pakistani drama ‘Numm’ pulled in just 7,700 viewers.
