New fiction ‘Airlines’ continued to dominate the weekend UK ratings, alongside reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

On Star Plus, ‘Airlines’ was the biggest show on UK Asian television during the weekend with 155,300 viewers – peaking at 193,500 viewers. The show scored the biggest ratings beating most weekday fictions on the channel. ‘India’s Raw Star’ last night pulled in 40,600 viewers – peaking at 81,700 viewers.

On Saturday, ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ was top show on the channel with 77,900 viewers, followed by ‘SaraswatiChandra’ with 77,100 viewers and ‘Veera’ in third with 73,200 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ was the leading show – more than doubling its audience with 107,500 viewers at 21:00 on Saturday. On Sunday, the show attracted 92,400 viewers. ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ at 22:30 on Saturday got 38,900 viewers and on Sunday it pulled with 65,000 viewers. ‘The Anupam Kher Show’ at 20:00 attracted 17,300 viewers.

On Rishtey, Pakistani show ‘Numm’ was top show with 21,900 viewers on Saturday, while on Sunday, it got 32,400 viewers. ‘India’s Got Talent’ pulled in just 11,100 viewers and on Sunday it received 30,100 viewers. The TV premiere of ��Kochadaiiyaan�۪ on Saturday at 18:00 pulled in just 7,200 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, the launch episode of ‘Dare 2 Dance’ at 20:30 on Saturday pulled in 11,900 viewers, while the Sunday episode raked in 37,900 viewers. ‘Savdhaan India’ remained the top show with 16,900 viewers on Saturday and a further 66,500 viewers on Sunday.

On Hum TV Europe, ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’ raked in 32,100 viewers at 21:00 on Saturday. The Sunday episode got double the viewership with 67,500 viewers. Also on Saturday, ‘Firaaq’ launched with 31,000 viewers. On Sunday, ‘Mithoo Aur Aapa’ was top show with 68,200 viewers and ‘Ahista Ahista’ in third with 53,600 viewers at 20:00.
