Overnights: ‘A Suitable Boy’ debuts with nearly five million viewers

BBC One’s new Sunday night drama ‘A Suitable Boy’ based on Vikram Seth’s novel, attracted nearly five million viewers, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The first episode, which aired on Sunday, pulled in an average 4.5 million viewers at 21:00 – peaking at 5.3 million viewers.

‘A Suitable Boy’ was the fourth most watched show across UK television channels behind ‘Antiques Roadshow’, ‘Countryfile’ and BBC News bulletins.
