'Shriman Shrimati' gets record ratings on Sunday in UK

The spin-off series of ‘Nach Baliye’ called ‘Shriman Vs Shrimati’ has managed to remain the weekend’s most popular show on UK Asian TV.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘Nach Baliye Shriman Vs Shrimati’ attracted a huge 249,300 viewers – peaking at 289,800 viewers.

In second place was ‘Arjun’ with 78,500 viewers, followed by ‘MasterChef India’ with 56,600 at 22:30.

On ITV4, the marathon nine-hour telecast of the Indian Premier League cricket attracted 268,100 viewers between 11:00 and 20:00. It peaked at 702,900 viewers during the show.

On Sony SAB TV, ‘Goodness Gracious Me’ at 20:30 got 25,300 viewers.

On UMP Movies, ‘Table No.21’ attracted 50,100 viewers at 21:00.
