Overnight: Star Plus’ EPG fault dents data; Sony TV at No.1 on Monday

Star Plus’ EPG data malfunction on Monday has resulted in a significant drop in its numbers, while Sony Entertainment Television was victorious, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Plus’ share dropped to just 0.06% – one of the lowest weekday share numbers for the broadcaster ever. Sony TV was top with a share of 0.15%, followed by Sony SAB TV and PTC Punjabi with 0.08%, New Vision TV with 0.05%, Colors and Colors Rishtey with 0.04%, ZEE TV and Dunya News with 0.03%, Hum TV, Colors Cineplex, Hum Masala, Star Bharat and Geo News with 0.02% and Geo TV with 0.01%.

Sony TV’s biggest attractions were ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 11’ at 21:00 with a huge 67,900 viewers, followed by ‘Patiala Babes’ at 20:30 with 41,500 viewers, ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:00 with 27,800 viewers, ‘Crime Patrol’ at 23:00 with 18,600 viewers and ‘Tara From Satara’ at 22:30 with 14,400 viewers.

On Sony SAB TV, ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ led with 20,500 viewers, followed by ‘Crime Patrol’ at 21:00 with 12,900 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Soya Mera Naseeb’ fetched 12,300 viewers at 19:30.

On Colors, ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’ delivered 16,300 viewers at 19:00.

On ZEE TV, ‘Rajaa Betaa’ topped ratings with 11,900 viewers at 18:00.
