Overnights: ‘Dil Boley Oberoi’ hits 100k on Friday


Star Plus’ attempt to launch a spin-off show based on an existing hit series seems to be working well in UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

‘Dil Boley Oberoi’, a secondary show to the hit ‘Ishqbaaaz’ on Star Plus, raked in its biggest audience since it launched this week. It was watched by 99,900 viewers at 22:30 – peaking at 123,900 viewers. In fact, it got a bigger viewership than ‘Ishqbaaaz’ at 22:00, which could only manage 55,800 viewers.

The biggest show in the UK last night was ‘Naamkarann’ for the second consecutive night with 125,400 viewers, followed by ‘Chandra Nandini’ at 20:30 with 124,100 viewers and ‘Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil’ at 20:00 with 119,300 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Swabhimaan’ at 21:30 and ‘Udann’ at 20:30 both fetched 7,600 viewers, followed by ‘Devanshi’ at 19:00 with 6,700 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Uttaran’ at 18:30 attracted 21,900 viewers, followed by ‘Thapki’ at 20:00 with 17,100 viewers and ‘Kasam’ at 20:30 with 16,400 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Gangaa’ led with 21,900 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Queens Hain Hum’ at 21:30 with 11,200 viewers and ‘Waaris’ at 19:00 with 7,900 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Sila’ took lead with 49,400 viewers, followed by ‘Dil Banjara’ at 20:00 with 33,000 viewers.

On UK 44, Pakistan Super League at 11:00 attracted 11,700 viewers. The second match at 16:00 fetched 2,700 viewers.

On Prime TV, Pakistan Super League coverage from 11:00 averaged at 13,100 viewers (both matches).

On Geo TV, Pakistan Super League coverage from 11:00 averaged at 2,300 viewers (both matches).
