Only Arbaaz Khan responsible for “joint” statement on separation?

To confirm the separation between Arbaaz Khan and wife Malaika Arora Khan, a statement from the couple stated that people claiming to be their “friends” were giving false information to the media, which was adding to their troubles. However, reports today suggest that the statement was not from the couple but actually from Arbaaz alone, much to Malaika’s displeasure.

According to��Mumbai Mirror��Malaika has ensured Arbaaz has no connection with her inner friend circle adding that she has no intenion of going back to him, but the statement suggested otherwise. A frind of Malaika’s was reported stating, “Malaika’s sister, Amrita (Arora Ladak) is also furious over Arbaaz’s insistent efforts to reconcile with her sister, despite her repeatedly making it clear that Malaika no longer wants to be a part of the Khan family.��his statement is only to try and salvage his tarnished reputation. There is too much pressure on him from his family to separate with dignity.”

The statement also read that they won’t be filing for divorce, and are instead taking a break from each other. However, news has it that the actress has had a few meetings with a divorce lawyer already. Apparently��Khan’s older brother Salman Khan, who was very close to the couple, has tried to get them��to make amends but alas there was only so much he could do, and is in no mood to talk about his views on the matter in public.

The friend went on to add, “But now, on patriarch Salim Khan’s instructions, Salman too has decided to stay out of the matter. On the insistence of both their families, Malaika and Arbaaz are now taking six months out and will decide whether to file for divorce by the yearend. This is the waiting period.”
