Omi Vaidya set for directorial debut?

Audiences��first saw him playing Chatur Ramalingam in Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘3 Idiots’ (2009) and had the audiences in splits. Now it seems that Omi Vaidya is keen to turn his attention to direction. BizAsia can reveal that Omi already has a script in place which will be a psychological thriller.

Not much is revealed as to who will produce his directorial venture or the rest of the cast but there is a possibility he will be acting in the film himself. This won’t be the first time he will go behind the camera as a director as he has already directed two short films before he made his big Bollywood debut, namely ‘Out Of Time’ (2007) and ‘The Desert Rose’ (2007).

Vaidya has starred in films like ‘Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji’ (2011), ‘Desi Boyz’ (2011) and, earlier this year, he was seen in ‘Players’ (2012) and also��’Jodi Breakers’ (2012).
